NEAREST CITY = Belem



These dunes are located by the little town of Salinopolis which is about 2.5 hours by car from Belem (220km).It´s a complex of white sand dunes that are not very high. Still it´s a lot of fun to ride them. At the bottom there´s a fresh water lake that the local people call ´lago da coca cola´ because the color of the water looks like Coca Cola.
This place looks justlike DUNAS DE JENIPABU, NATAL. The best dune is very steep and about 80 meters high, which provides a long and cool ride to the botton.
